India has performed well in last couple of years but they don't have it in them because of too much experimenting going on in the Indian camp. Indians have lost the cohesiveness that they had once just because there are too many players coming in and going out of the team. After doing all that experimenting guess what they did, they played the same side that was there in the last world +- 3 or 4 people. According to me they need to kick out Shewag as he has performed very badly since the beginning, if you don't believe me check out his batting average, his batting average is around 30.00 which is not a very good average for an opening player. On the other hand Dhoni was a great find because his batting average is 48.00 while playing at number 6.
There are other reasons why India has a tough road ahead because they not only have to win both the games but they will have to win those games with a big margin and they will have to post very big totals on the board. Given some of the pitches India will be playing their next two games, I don't see them posting 400 runs against Bermuda or 300+ against Sri Lanka. I hope they do but it seems very unlikely. Even if India win both the games Bangladesh plays after India and they will know exact figures to reach to the round of 8.

So far India has stick to the task by hitting a total of 413 however they need to get Bermuda out under 100 runs so that they can increase on the net run rate. I hope they do that, they will stand a great chance to go to super 8.
As "John Wright" mentioned today after the match, India scoring 413 and Sehwag scoring 114 is not a big deal because they played with relatively new team who has just ventured into big league.
Indian record with with SL is not all that good with respect to world cup matches. SL has better edge on fielding and bowling when compared with India.
Indian team has to improve a lot in bowling and fielding. Again as "John" mentioned today, Indian team "SUCKS" in bowling and fielding.... I'm crossing my fingers for the Friday match and praying at the same time;-)

I seriously believe that India has 4 in 5 chances to go to the next round if they win against Sri Lanka. Why I say that , here are the scenarios :
1. BAN defeats SL : In that case, who ever wins SL vs IND game goes to the next round. Hence Proved.
2. SL defeats BAN: In that case , it will depend how they defeated BAN. Two cases. Firstly, big margin and secondly small margin. In both cases India is the winner because I dont think BAN will be able to beat Bermuda by 250+ runs and they might then dont forget that India might post a big total too.
More updates on India going through. After doing the math, if India wins the match against SL, BAN will need 13.00 run per over differential to qualify. So, if BAN gets to bat first India is through to the next round. However the only chance BAN has is to play second and hit runs with 15 per over average, which is possible if Bermuda gets out for a low score.
